Group Classes
Group Classes are offered for Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, Intermediate/Advanced Obedience, and Fun & Games Obedience. Classes average 6 dogs per session and are held in Carrollton, Georgia with Certified Dog Trainer & Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainer, Laura Clawson.
Puppy Kindergarten - This fun-filled class focuses on proper socialization and covers crate training, house training, bite inhibition, chewing, good house manners, and an introduction to basic obedience. For puppies age 8 - 16 weeks (current vaccinations required).

Basic Obedience - General problem solving and basic obedience will be covered: Problem barking, digging, chewing, sit, down, focus, sit/down stay, come, loose-leash walking, and leave it. For dogs age 16 weeks and up.

Intermediate/Advanced Obedience - A review of basic obedience cues will be covered with increased distractions and games to keep the interactions stimulating for you and your dog. For dogs age 16 weeks and up.

Fun & Games Obedience
Fun & Games Obedience is designed to enhance the human-dog relationship by building confidence and improving your dog's problem solving skills. We will work to increase your knowledge of how dogs learn and fine tune obedience commands using obstacles and games. We will also incorporate the skills necessary for the new Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.) evaluations. This is an 8 week course and the first week is for humans only.

NEW! Nosework for Fun -
The class is designed to use your dogs natural scenting ability to "hunt." We'll combine your dog's favorite activities - sniffing, play, food, and exercise. No prior obedience work required!
6 week Introduction to Nosework for Fun Level 1 to be held beginning: Tuesday, January 17th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm (In Progress)

The Introduction to Nosework Level 1 classes are held at Pet Supplies "Plus," Carrollton
NEW! Nosework for Fun Practice Session: Wednesday, February 1st from 6:30pm - 8pm.
90 minutes of practice, limited to 5 dog/handler participants. Must have completed Intro to Nosework for Fun & Nosework for Fun Level 2 workshops. Cost $29.
You and your dog will have a GREAT time in this obedience free activity.

What should you bring to class?
- Flat collar or Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness or for very strong pullers: a head collar, such as a Halti or Gentle Leader (no pinch or slip collars)
- 6 foot nylon or leather leash
- Irresistable dog treats cut into very small pieces for training
- Current vaccination records (first class only)

Once you have reserved your spot via phone or email, please download and print a Registration Form by clicking here. Completed registration forms may be scanned and emailed to laura.clawson@unleashthepawsitive.com or brought to the first class session.
Full payment must be made before the start of the first class session by cash, check, credit card, or money order. Group training must be pre-paid, is non-transferable, and non-refundable.
A returned check fee of $25 will be charged and added to the amount due for each returned check.
If you are using a coupon or discount certificate, please notify Laura upon registration. Only one coupon or discount certificate may be used per class or private session registration. Coupons and discounts are valid on cash, check, and money order purchases only. Coupons and discounts are not valid on credit card purchases.
